Restoration Crew Chief (Water, Fire, Mold)
Location: Northern New Jersey
Compensation: $22–$28/hour + PTO and Paid Sick Leave

This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and customer-focused service while fostering growth and teamwork. Flexibility is key, as our emergency response services require availability for "on-call" needs, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead by Example: Manage and work alongside teams of 1-4, handling water, fire, and mold restoration projects. When restoration jobs are unavailable, oversee floor cleaning, air duct cleaning, and tile and grout cleaning tasks.
Emergency Response: Be available 24/7 for emergency calls, delivering prompt and efficient services to customers in need.
Team Development:
- Train, mentor, and support technicians.
- Foster a team-oriented culture aligned with our company vision and values.
- Assist senior management in recruiting, hiring, and training new team members.
Operations Management:
- Ensure job documentation, inventory management, and vehicle maintenance are up to standard.
- Start each day with an 8:00 AM team huddle in Bernardsville, NJ.
- Monitor and improve team morale and performance.
Customer Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Business Growth: Support company goals for sales, profitability, and market leadership by consistently delivering exceptional results.

Qualifications:

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years leading a team of 1-3 members.
- Strong track record of hands-on work in water, fire, and mold restoration.
Certification: At least ONE IICRC Certification (required).
Skills:
- Leadership skills with a "practice what you preach" mentality.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical proficiency for using modern restoration tools and reporting platforms.
License: Valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to operate vans, trucks, and box trucks.
Availability: Flexible to work weekends and respond to emergency calls as needed.
