Crew Chief Job Summary

Crew Chief leads a team in restoring properties damaged by water, fire, mold, or other disasters, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to industry standards. They are responsible for supervising technicians, managing job site activities, and communicating with clients and insurance adjusters. Strong leadership, technical skills, and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Water Damage Technician Qualifications

Extensive Experience in Restoration: Several years of hands-on experience in water, fire, mold, and/or other types of property restoration, including knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
Strong Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, including supervising technicians, coordinating job site activities, and making critical decisions under pressure.
Relevant Certifications: Certifications such as IICRC in areas like Water Damage Restoration, Fire and Smoke Restoration, or Mold Remediation, which demonstrate expertise and commitment to the field.
Excellent Communication Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both for client interactions and for coordinating with team members, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using restoration equipment and technology, including moisture meters, dehumidifiers, and software for project management and documentation.
